of course actions don't lie. but you can't know the intent behind their actions without a lot of evidence to back up your assertions. otherwise it's just a witch hunt.

all i said was that the fool greenspan 'might' have thought he was saving the economy by holding interest rates low. you insist on arguing about a detail that doesn't really matter and that you can't prove. you should be happy to be able to prove that even if a FED chairman thinks he's doing the right thing, it doesn't guarantee that it IS the right thing. that way it doesn't matter if FED's intentions are good or bad, they shouldn't be allowed to set interest rates. no one on earth is, or ever will be smart enough to know where interest rates should be. a free market in money is all that is needed.
