I was out playing tennis yesterday. A young kid rode up on his bike to watch my partner and I play. My partner is worth watching, but it was cold yesterday and she was wearing pants instead of shorts, so this kid obviously had motives beyond those that I understand.

He wanted to play for the joy of playing. Imagine that!

At 13, he had marvelous hand eye coordination and wonderful control of the ball. But he was FAT, and stood in one place to play. I had to suggest to him, every time we retrieved balls, that he could help...... otherwise, he would not help, even with those balls immediately in front of him.

He had most likely been raised on Big Macs, not an issue in Zimbabwe.
