I've got absolutely no way of second-guessing whatever is or was in the kid's mind. (Certainly can't just from reading some news article....) All I know is that the article claimed the kid labeled the figure on the cross as himself.... (Now whether the article, quoting 'school officials' I think, is right, or is wrong in that assertion I have no way of knowing.) But, my first take about the father being so quick to call for "cash" for himself... (saying it a couple of times)... is more then enough to raise my suspicions though.
