Question: any concerns here about another major correction? I realize that the stable yielders can weather most corrections as long as they are not too extended, but wonder how you guys view that possibility that we may get another major correction and perhaps not bounce back as quickly next time.

I know the obvious answers, but as someone who is only partially onboard with the yield strategy and still very much in transition, as well as still swing trading as much as 1/3 of my PFs while at any given moment I might also be as high as 50% cash/MMF/short term tsy paper, I have yet to figure out how I might feel during and after another major correction that whacks the share prices of my divvy plays and maybe for an extended time frame.

Would appreciate any and all thoughts on this as I plan to shift more of my trading assets to LT divvy plays as I unwind my swing trades and deploy more of the cash equivalents into divvy plays.

Having an outstanding year and looking to both protect capital while generating steady divvies which would be plowed back into the stocks via DRIPS for the next 10-15 years before drawing distributions for income.

Thanks,
Jim
