Nothing micro managing about it at all. It allows people free will. If they want a gas guzzler, they will have to pay for it. And by charging them more for their gas guzzler, the gov't is benefiting the nation as a whole It is NOT a micro-management, if grandma in North Dakota has to shiver in winter in her cold room, because she can't afford to pay for her fossil fuel, along with SUV gas guzzler who either has to downgrade to a crossover, along with a school that has to lay off teacher's assistant to heat the school building. If it is only the SUV owner, it is micro-management.
