Oh yes, I noticed. It goes back to my general theme against today's GOP. They are corrupt and represent only a tiny minority of rightwingnuts. The GOP I supported for most of my life was a bigger tent party and it had honorable leaders like Reagan, Bush Sr, Gingrich, & Powell. Now those types of big tent, practical leaders are either gone or are lying low. Instead, the most visible aspect of the GOP leadership today is a tableau of buffoonery and extremism like Steele, Palin, Limbaugh, and Beck, who spout propaganda short of facts and believe in obstruction and partisanship over reason and solutions. Until the GOP puts these types behind closed doors, they won't get enough supporters to come back to power. They've lost the centrists like me. Party purity is a sure path to permanent minority status.
