I looked up how much the REAL U.S. Federal Debt went up, or went down, under each of these post WW II Presidents... (the ones who were President during most of our lives).

("Real Debt" means the national debt in Dollars, adjusted for inflation, and measured as a percentage of the Gross National Product - G.N.P. - of the United States. The way most economists prefer to look at a nation's debt.)

(Though I'll freely admit... whenever the GOP is out of power they put on a *great* song and dance number about how much they are a'gin deficits and debt! Truly inspiring and very entertaining. But --- as post WW II history has AMPLY ILLUSTRATED --- it's ONLY Kabuki dinner theater, just the ole soft shoe, and the pick-pocketing goes on utterly unchanged whenever they can shine their way back into power over the budgets.....)
