Steele is more of a buffoon than an extremist. The others are extremists. Steele really isn't a good leader for the GOP. Sometimes, I find his comments embarrassing. He would not be my first choice for GOP chairman. Or second... The more rational of the GOP include Romney and Huckabee, but we don't see them much out front any more. Why is that? Huckabee has a Fox commentator gig, that he is enjoying very much. Romney seems to be in hiding, probably because the MA health reform is turning out to be a disaster, and with subject so high on the national agenda, maybe he does not feel like answering questions. Just a speculation on my part....
