Gary you wrote <<Looks like Cymer is going to have home field advantage in this PR battle. I also note from the page that there will be a presentation of the "Top 5 Growth Awards" at 5:30pm. Could you imagine if Cym.. oh, I better not think that.>> yes, let's keep our prayers up for the best. Cymer certainly qualifies with 95% market share. I would be astonished if Cymer didn't win the award. NOTE TO ALL SHORTS: COVER TOMORROW, IF CYMER WINS THE AWARD, YOU CAN COVER TUESDAY AT HOPEFULLY HIGHER PRICES. If I had a brain and was short this company, I'd cover based on this information alone. Wouldn't you?

For those shorts who haven't visited the Edgar on line you should note that Intel has purchased a laser from Cymer (along with every other important semi and chip manufacturer in the world - about 25 in all). This information is on Cymer's background information filing with Edgar On Line. There has been some question on this thread as to whether Intel had purchased or no - but it's in black and white - Intel is considered a "customer". It doesn't say how many lasers were purchased or for what purpose (well, I'm certain Intel didn't purchase the laser to shoot holes in frisbies).

who thought up this 95% market share when no other laser is currently being used in the market for production with only two or three from other firms being used for testing? that would give Cymer a 99% market share for all lasers in existance and 100% market share for all lasers in production!
