Yesterday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell caved in on health care, rushing the bill through to an earlier vote so he and his buddies can make their vacations on time.
Merry Christmas, from the spineless Republican leadership.
The vote on final Senate passage will now come at 8 AM tomorrow, Christmas Eve.
The fight is not yet over, but time is now VERY short, so I need you to call your senators RIGHT NOW.
Some senators, particularly vulnerable Democrats, are still not set in stone, despite what Harry Reid wants you to believe.
They can still be moved by heat from back home, especially if they think their seat hangs in the balance.
So please, call your senators now and tell them to oppose this government health care scheme. Let them know that your vote -– and their seat -– is at stake.
But as bad as this health care monstrosity is, it’s not the only battle we face this Christmas Eve.
The statists are also greedily stuffing their stockings with an increase in the Debt Ceiling.
The $290 billion increase will pump our national debt limit to $12.39 TRILLION, allowing the Fed to print dollars and float the statists’ big spending agenda . . .
. . . until just mid-February. That’s as long as $290 billion lasts in Washington these days –- a month and a half.
And unless we put a stop to it now, in a few months they’ll just come right back to loot us for hundreds of billions more.
That’s why I also need you to tell your senators to vote against the increase in our National Debt Ceiling.
I know this is a busy time of year, but if you can just find a minute to call now, your voice -- combined with countless other R3volutionaries -- could still make the difference.
So please, call your senators right now and DEMAND they oppose Harry Reid’s health care bill and any increase in the Debt Ceiling.
