I am blown away by such a blatant disregard that the courts have shown towards equity holders within Canada and the rewarding of such corporate greed and underhandedness.
What a sad day for investing in Canadian companies for now and in the future.
Not only have many investors lost every dime through very dubious measures but I would also guess that investors will also not be able to write this off as a tax loss.

Could someone please confirm if we can still utilize this loss for tax purposes?
