It's less about policy differences and more about presentation and intellectual heft.

The reason I asked the question was because I wanted to see if you were going to compare Romney to Palin, or to the caricature of Palin.

And it seems that you, as many others, when talking about Palin, are actually talking about caricature of Palin created in pro-Obama left wing media.

I find her to be bright, practical, modest, pragmatic. But with a backbone. Romney? I am not sure about his backbone. Otherwise, I don't mind him.

As far as being presidential material, I would definitely not reject her out of hand. The long primary season gives a person who is not exactly heir apparent chance to show their abilities, to be tested.

I want Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, and other enormously intelligent people running this country. If we start to believe that it's best to let folks like Joe the Plumber and Palin, or Limbaugh and Beck, run this country, then we won't survive as a country for very long.

Famous line by Bill Buckley was that he would rather be governed by first 200 people in Boston phone directory than by faculty of Harvard.
