He represents a fairly conservative district. The only area that may be sympathetic are Madison and Huntsville... Ironically, if the ultraconservatives manage to split the GOP this year, he might have had a better chance as a democrat. It doesn't even look like the RNC will support him.....financially. I don't understand why he didn't scope things out before making his move.
