The CDO markets seem to have worked just fine. If there were regulatory failures, that's evidence that regulations are prone to failure [which they are].

What's "brookesly"? If brookesly was ruined, that seems like a market success, not a market failure.

Ruination is just part of capitalism and markets. For decades I have worked assiduously to achieve ruination of competitors. When they go broke or even just lose business, it's cause for great celebration.
