i could not help myself, Do you think the USD pop is over? Might well be. I think we may see some end of year gold buying but likely the temporary USD pop will re-start in 2010, then the steady decline will continue. But I don't say this with an enormous amount of confidence as yesterday's action did not confirm my guess. I am paying attention, for though I think my instincts and antennae are good, yours are better. I hope your German Robinson Crusoe pal is doing well. I think you and I and most of us would be bored to tears if forced to live full time in a secluded Paradise. What a unique bunch.
