Unlike the favelas in Recife and Sao Paolo, which the police, military and private death squads use as their private human hunting grounds, Kansas City is very close to a lot of deer hunting sites and is generally a very peaceful law abiding city full of placid, civilized Anglos. Unlike Brazilian cities, where the cops and the military hunt people down with impunity, the quality of life in KC is very high.

The folks getting guns would likely use them to go quail or deer hunting.

I have little doubt that the members of the death squads indeed make more than $287 a month. How is raising the monthly salary of the victims going to help?

This Human Rights Watch report was released recently. You may profit from reading it rather than shooting off irrelevant trivia. You may not realize it, but citing the example of a real estate broker in KC giving away coupons for a gun shop proves nothing. Read the real stuff, the data that matters, stuff like this:

I found this part of the report most interesting. The figures cited are reminiscent of a civil war akin to Lebanon's, rather than the Heaven on Earth you have convinced yourself exists:
