He was right on interest rates but the counter argument made pre crash, at least by me was, if and when Keynesian policies were put in place along with extreme Fed measures to avoid a repeat of the great depression and interest rates remained very low for an extended period it would ensure a deflationary depression would not be repeated...

Bernanke named Time Magazine 'Person of the Year'..that he gets ridiculed by so many for doing what he did boggles my mind
