Less availability is a separate issue.


It does keep the principle in place. But in the process expands the scope of affected parties, which moves the cause forward.

The Hyde Ammendment applied to all government funding before, and it still does afterwards.

That's true.

If this legislation had gone to single payer, then abortions would not be covered at all. Surely you aren't suggesting that that doesn't move the chains...
