12/24/09 Final Contest update
With the Bears apparently in hibernation or busy shopping, the Bulls had an easy romp. At Thursday's Contest close, the Nasdaq Composite Index was up 45.44% CYTD, or Contest Year To Date, (vs. up 40.73% CYTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Biotech Index was up 18.49% CYTD (vs. up 14.79% CYTD a week ago). The Contest median really hit its stride, closing up 21.11% CYTD (vs. up 13.01% CYTD a week ago).
It was down to the wire, but at the finish line RKRW nosed out NIGEL by a mere $575.
At the Contest close, 25 of the 32 Contest portfolios were in the black and 17 of the 32 were beating the NBI.
