>> I believe we'll find that the Dems will retain majorities in both houses in 2010, which will be a good confirmation that the Dems are doing the will of the people.

A year ago the R. party had been left for dead. There were people on this very thread talking about it requiring YEARS for the Rs to come back, if ever.

While it does not appear likely as of today, it is entirely possible the Rs could gain majorities in BOTH houses.

There are at least 8 senate seats that are "toss-ups" right now. And this is BEFORE this god-awful legislation has been rammed down American's throats -- which more than 2/3 now oppose.

Keep in mind that the legislation has been HIDDEN, KEPT SECRET from the American people because the Ds know just how bad it is. Everything that has managed to ooze out since it became public has been negative. There is, quite simply, not going to be anything in this legislation that people DO like -- if there were, we'd have already seen it.

The Democrat senators who are in trouble have, to a person, voted for a massively unpopular bill after having the shit squeezed out of them by Reid who is, himself, in serious election trouble.

I think it is very likely to be a bloodbath 10 months from now.

The only promising news for the Ds is that the government is going to hire almost a million people for the census, which will likely help the unemployment rate come down some. Without that there would be little chance for these guys.
