As far as I know, no 'vast majority of climate scientists' have ever disputed, that the only real data on hand so far shows, that the CO2 spikes follow - as opposed to precede - the temeperature spikes.

I admit, however, that said data only covers the most recent approx. 1 million years of Earth history and thus may not be significant enough to conclude much about the sequence of any cycles say 250 million years ago.

That's where pure speculation takes over and your 'vast majority of climate scientists' settle on whatever advances their agenda the best.

But don't call that science because its nothing but extrapolation of their in vitro micro climate observations while - at the best - real world 800k years data, which seems to be explainable by some vodoo 'novel physical and chemical properties' only, is better ignored.
