The Philippine market looks interesting. Diversified Ayala Corp. has been around much more than a century.
Philippinos speak better English than most Chinese and Indians. Also the islands have abundant geothermal
energy supplies, probably the greatest such energy resources per capita in the world.
Why not invest in Ayala? Well I hear that rich Chinese are frequently kidnapped in the Philippines to the point
where Chinese families keep cash around to pay ransoms. That sounds terrible.
Do you have any opinions about Ayala?
