"Recent climate models suggest that such a rise in CO2 would have raised global temperatures by 1.5 °C"

Your point? This in no way changes the conclusion that the extinctions were caused by climate warming.

"and this created a positive-feedback warming loop, as methane is 45 times more efficient than CO2 at exacerbating global warming."

How does this support your case? You are aware that there are plenty of clathrates in the oceans and permafrost? And they can be destabilized by only slight increases in temp?

You are just strengthening my argument, and undercutting yours.

Not that I mind, I just find it curious.
