Gib, a long time ago, in this very thread, the great jedi master SI BOB came in and busted mine and el mats head. El Mat fled, kicking me to the curb as he stabbed me in the back. It was like that movie "gangs of new york" - that character played by daniel day lewis - they were enemies - but they respected each other for who they were. I respected that El Mat - even though it cost me personally, I could suck that up for El Mats unwavering certainty that he was right. Now doubt is being punched into his EGO, and that is the beginning of a long slippery slope. I don't know why he has turned over his defining achivement on SI to chen, but it is disgraceful. CB Ilaine once told me to be wary of people like chen, silver tongued serpents who are worse than a pherengi in seeking out profits.
El Mat was a dying breed, there are far too many chens, politically correct, telling you honeyed pillow talk whispering sweet lies in your ear, but few like El Mat, a BULL who said fugg the consequences.
This is not just my opinion, look at thier personal life to see which one was REALLY a BULL and which one a pushover. One refused to be made a foolish silly b%tch by thier wife, the other letting their wife make them look like a clown at silly social functions with all her girlfriends. One is a warrior, one is what CB Ilaine said, a silver tongued serpent that stands for nothing and therefore will fall for anything.
We need more El Mats in this world to fight the evil kleptocrats, the chens will either replace them, or ally with them, but never will they stop that evil power - EL Mats will do that. The mad crowd must not prevail, they must not alter and change the few el mats we have left. If El Mat does not take back the reigns of his thread, everything he stood for will be lost - the mad crowd will have prevailed - no satire. |
