Eh, the Buy and Hold has the advantage over the intraweek trader by virtue of the fact that the trades must be

-end of day,

-Partial profits is disallowed. Adding to an existing position is penalized,

-Occasionally trading is suspended, as in the occasional case where you cannot trade until Friday...

-Stops aren't used, hedging isn't used

-The Short term trader would be more prone to take short term positions in ETFs and ETNs than a Buy/Hold.

-Commissions are high

and probably a half a dozen other disadvantages hit the shorter-term trader. For these and more reasons I would expect the Position trader to do better than the Short term trader.
