-- A woman called in & said she switched her ira stock mutual funds to money market.

-- Bob Brinker was angry. "Don't you I'm calling for the market to rise? Why did you do such a thing?"

-- Then in classic Brinker hedging, he said, "maybe later in November you'll get back in at less than you got out for"

-- On the one hand, I like Brinker b/c he knows we're in a tenacious bull market that will probably go to the 15,000 level in 5 years. He also knows you can't time the market or you'll miss out.

-- On the other hand, I hate the fact that he doesn't just tell folks to put everything in tomorrow; and worse comes to worse; you take a 10% decline to not miss out on the 20% run ups every 6 months.
