Besides, it doesn't take much to upset the food crops we depend on.

True - we already have misguided efforts to gin up ethanol and we inadvertently starve millions.

A little warming will be good for crops anyway - faster, bigger growth, longer growing seasons and they use less water with more co2 in the air.
