I have one of those old phones that was built in the last century and I have never upgraded it. To do so would probably change the rate I pay - $15 a month - just to have an emergency phone in my car.

I rarely use it and almost never get calls on it. The person who called and prompted it to beep every 5 minutes had dialed the wrong number - didn't even leave a message. If there'd been a message, it would have beeped every 30 seconds, which would have allowed me to find it sooner.

What a stupid feature - Hey you! Somebody dialed your number incorrectly and we want you to know about it every 5 minutes.
