On my first trip to Japan, I flew over on an American airline, don't recall who. I was allowed 2 beers and had to pay 5 bucks each. I was cut off. Sheesh! You know how long a flight it is from here to Japan? 2 beers?

On my second trip, I caught a Japanese flight out of O'Hare. WOW! What a difference. Free beer, all I wanted. Free wine and champagne. (Which I didn't drink.) They even brought around baskets of Hagan Daas ice cream. The Missus ate my ice cream. I drank her beer! That flight was a joy! Coming and going.

Went to Ireland this year. Booked an Irish airline out of Amsterdam, a Dutch flight from here. No more American flights over seas for me.

Oh no! They were as bad as the American airlines. And some knucklehead lost our luggage in Amsterdam. Thankfully, we brought extra clothes and things on board with us. Our luggage finally caught up with us the next day.

The Dutch airline from here to Amsterdam? Again, 2 beers, 5 bucks each, only they were 6 oz cans on Heinekin. 6 oz! Limit 2. The Missus thought they were cute little cans. Cute my ...... . Hrmmmmph!

I might have to try to sneak some beer on board next time.
