Lee,

Does anyone have "facts" as to why a p/e of 25 should be to high for Intel, considering the growth rate and positioning?

When Intel resumes the growth, I thik the P/E will move up. There has not been much sequential growth last 2 quarters. Analysts predict the next couple of quarters will be flat to slightly up.

It will not be much of a problem in Q4, because it will still be substantially up from '96, but if Q1 is flat, it will be flat year to year, and that is not a good news.

Right now, Intel (and Sanders) are too preoccupied with trying to kill AMD to pay attention to improving earnings.

Joe
