Well you are ahead of me, ML. Here's what I know at the moment.

I need a device for the DVD player to connect it to the wireless home network. I see that you understand it has to be purchased from Samsung. I haven't check that out yet.

Obviously, I need to setup my Netflix account so we can receive streaming video. That's down the line.

But what concerns me is the speed of my internet connection is not up to streaming video. So I don't yet know how the DVD player handles that. I don't want to buy the device, set up my Netflix account, and then learn that my internet speeds are too slow.

But, unfortunately, I won't be able to work on it for a few days. I'm on the road tomorrow (Wednesday) and doing other work through to the weekend. Unless one of us gets bit by the bug and we drop everything.

However, once I get started on it again, I'll certainly keep you posted. It looks to me that having streaming video is a lot better than waiting for DVDs to arrive in the mail.

My bug right now is learning to use my new Micro Four Thirds camara, a Panasonic GH1. And then learning how to massage photos. And print them on a new Epson printer we bought. Gonna create a bit collection of family photos.
