Thanks Blankmind, Brinker ended up coming on Sun. night for me and I got a similar impression. I think he likes the current pricing, but would prefer to see some volatility shake out before he gives his official recommendation to every person (at all levels of expertise). Unfortunately for him, he is right far more than he is wrong, thus the average listening public has come to take his opinions for sure fact--possibly with unrealistic expectations of his strong forecasting abilities. Of course is that that's their problem, not his. JS He did mention SP500 at 877 as a potential buy-in price. I believe he also said SP500 at 1000 by end of winter (or sooner).
