Well, we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I believe that no new social programs should ever be created unless they are paid for with either new taxes or cuts in spending elsewhere. I believe that some social programs are worthwhile, health care being one of them, but I'd rather have no health care reform, rather than one that will add to our deficits.

It's clear that the GOP and the Dems both believe in health care that adds to the deficits. The only difference is that at least the Dems tried to pay for theirs, whereas, Bush's added to the deficits, even if it added less than they originally thought it would.
