Well, this year I will pay about $1,500 more per year in insurance. My total insurance costs have tripled since 2000. That is projected to get worse. This bill is supposed to put the breaks on those out of control increases. Will it do it? I don't know. I hope so. The CBO says it will.

The GOP has not offered anything to contain costs. So I'm not sure what alternatives you guys think there are. As I've said, though, I'd rather not see this bill pass, if it will add to the deficits. I'm not hurting so much that it will bankrupt me if my health care bills go up.

But again, even though I'll agree with you all that the Dems plans are less than perfect, the GOP plans and ideology are even further off the mark.
