Not quite. They will be hit with much higher taxes but so will their parents and even their dead grandparents....the tax on the parents and previous generations will come in the form of a much higher future estate tax. Those taxes that they were "lucky enough to avoid" will eventually be collected and much of the savings meant for their children will never reach that destination.
