this is the first time in 40 years that I think GM has a chance of surviving If it does the removal of the debt would be the main reason. That would have happened in an ordinary bankruptcy without all the political interference by the Bush and Obama administrations. Damn it, Tim, its more than the debt. They are finally coming up with cars that people want. And they would be selling a lot more if people weren't still scared that the company won't make it. And let me add.....their last CEO needs to take some of the credit. These cars were started under his tenure......its just that time ran out on him.
