Isn't there some sort of battle going on among the heads of all these agencies right now? - all jockeying to be top dog and get their fingers pointed first since they're all going to start accusing the other ones of being to blame.
FBI, CIA, Homeland Security, TSA, NSA, DOD, ATF, Border Patrol, National Guard, local cops, state cops, airport cops, state bureau of investigations, and a plethora of other alphabet agencies all in charge of supposedly protecting us.
You need another agency just to make sure the information each acquires gets distributed to the other ones.
What is Homeland Security supposed to be doing that the FBI and CIA and the others weren't doing before it was created? FBI is supposed to work here in America. The CIA is international. How does Homeland Security fit into those bureaucracies?
Systemic breakdown? Wow! Now there's a surprise. Who's supposed to send out all the trillion bits of data that they all collect everyday and who are they supposed to notify? The hourly employee at the airport that looks at your baggage as it goes through the x-ray machines? |
