It was Chicken Little time. The sky WAS falling. There were nothing but clouds on the horizon. Day by day was gut wrenching.
I made comment in one post of going back under my rock.
This after a high of $148k in January of 2007.
Nov. '08 was the portfolio low and the initial bounce was quick. In May I had a cash infusion from selling my company stock. It will be the last added to this account:

I tossed off a few too many "real stinkers", used the available cash to do some trading and then put it into imho, "better" stocks.
The cash infusion added to the 1/07 high would give me 166.5k. Being at 180.4k at least makes me feel somewhat competent, especially when looking at my taxable account.
No matter what I say about not trading in my taxable account, I'm lying. lol! This year, along with all the trading, I have taken money out to lend to a family member, then later put part of it back, then took some more out and put in the wife and my future travel fund. It is impossible to track that account since it is only a matter of time before I see a trade I can't resist and that complicates things too much.
The IRA is a different story. Not planning on trading it. Not that I won't sell something and buy something else, but fully invested and no plans to sell to make trading funds available.
I'll be the big "double nickel" next month, giving me 4 1/2 years until I would be making any withdrawals. This will be the only portfolio I track going forward.
Estimated annual dividend income per end Nov. statement is $10,594. Since then I have picked up 80 shares of TCLP, the second batch yesterday:
