People just do not want to face heath problems. They won't go in and get checked as long as they feel good.

I was shaking my head at another cable news show commentary about how our medical bills were high because of lack of preventative care and could be lowered if people went in for checkups.

This concept is fostered by the medical profession that wants the fees. We end up spending the same bucks just prior to death either way. If we go in early and find out what is wrong this helps us out. But it is more expensive for society in the long run.

Good care is costly, folks. If you want to save money, it's better to let people find out they are sick just before they pop off.
