Contrary to popular belief, the CIA did not control the Mujahidin fighting against that invasion, the Pakistani ISI did. But we did supply weapons, money, and logistics and in exchange for that support we had SOME influence over events.
Huh?

You morons always focus on the billions we give to Israel. YET, YOU NEVER MENTION THAT EGYPT RECEIVES BILLIONS AS WELL as part of the Camp David peace accord.
Hey, I am against paying anyone for peace, peace has to come from within. However, 80 million Egyptians get $3 billion and 7 million Israelis get $3 billions. On per capita bases, Israel is getting more. Not to mention all other financial and military aid that we give Israel. I believe they total to $9 billion. That money is better spent at here at home rather than sponsoring Israel's crimes against humanity.

And that's why Gaza is being "blockaded" by BOTH Egypt and Israel.
Great, now, we will be blamed for starving 1.5 million Palestinians.
