However, the US recognizes that Israel is an occupying power and wants them to give the lands back to the Palestinians. Were Israel still an occupying power in Gaza, or even in the West Bank, do you think they would be permitting Hamas to broadcast programs designed to indoctrinate Palestinian children to wage global Jihad? Think GR.. Think!! The only thing holding up a Palestinian state is the Palestinian attitude towards Israel and it's Jewish population. And that truly serves to facilitate the agenda of Israeli hardliners who want to prevent such a state, and/or annex Judea and Samaria and kick the current Arab residents out. Once again.. the "Forever War" agenda of Hamas SERVES the interests of Israeli hardliners. There's going to be another war involving the Israelis and Palestinians, that's certain. Because Hamas doesn't believe in peace with Israel, only temporary truces. The question is when the Israelis are going to feel like they have their backs up against the wall and no recourse but to destroy the Hamas political and military infrastructure once and for all. That's going to be TRULY UGLY!! Hawk
