Of course they are.

Nissan, who is releasing a plug-in electric shortly, has estimated that such vehicles could comprise at most 10% of the vehicles in this country over 10-20 years.

These are very long-term problems and for the time being, drilling is the best solution.

I did think you opposed offshore drilling near CA. My mistake.
