Why restrict it to terrorist acts done by someone with a connection to Islam?

Because it is Islam that has declared war on our country then followed it up with an attack which killed thousands of innocent Americans. I'd think that would be obvious. If you can't distinguish between Islamic terrorism and other random, individual acts of terrorism that are in fact mere crimes, I'm not sure there is any point to the conversation.

If there is other "terrorism" carried out in the US, fine, get them and jail them. But the real enemy in the war on terrorism are the coordinated efforts of Radical Islam.

This doesn't seem that complicated to me.

This latest one looks to have a connection to al Qaeda, but the other two you are whining about seem to be the acts of individuals.

I think the last two do have, the first, who knows. But to the extent the first attack was a direct result of an Islamic fanatic wanting to take out American military personnel, that's Islamic Terrorism by any reasonable measure.

The identical murder in Little Rock would NOT have been an act of Islamic Terrorism had one element been missing -- had the killer not been a follower of Radical Islam. Had he been pissed off because of a fight over a parking space, it would not have been terrorism, it would have been a murder.

You see the difference?
