Thanks for the recommendation and the extra info on TSSW. My general approach to small caps is based on the idea that true value is often not reflected in the current price. I never buy anything which is trading at a price and PE which fully accounts for the next year's projected earnings, unless there is a plausible reason to think that earnings will exceed expectations. TSSW is a case in point; if sales take off and earnings do better than expected you will have got in on the ground floor. I'm heavily into BNGO because Rodney Babcock made a compelling case that BNGO would bring in earnings way over expectations based on its recent acquisitions. So far they have.

TA - I just started fooling around with some TA after reading Elder's book "Trading For A Living" which has good, plain-English explanations of popular indicators. The BigCharts site (http;//www.bigcharts.com) and their interactive charts make it easy to run quick charts on different stocks with a variety of time frames and indicators.

Today I have been looking at a lot of stocks using a 3-month MACD and Bollinger band analysis. The results are impressive; in most cases buying and selling where the MACD lines crossed in the last few months would have kept you on track picking tops and bottoms. I am chagrined to find some of my post-crash purchases should have been put on the shelf according to these charts.

I don't want to turn this into a TA thread but I am interested to hear from other small investors doing TA-Lite like this. For example, TSSW doesn't show a buy yet on the 6-month chart but it does on the three-month, with an upper limit of the mid-4's. I'll bookmark the chart and keep an eye on it.

Good luck to all today.
