Celebrity Moonbat of the Decade: Michael Moore. Epitomizing Hollywood Moonbattery by making films attacking free enterprise and extolling the wonders of socialism while living the lifestyle of a Saudi oil tick and treating his own employees like serfs.
Moonbat Blogger of the Decade:Markos Moulitsas Zúñiga of DailyKos. A guy who spits "Screw 'Em" on Americans brutally murdered by terrorists becomes a major force in mainstream Democrat politics and media. Tells you everything you need to know about the values of the American left.
Moonbat Organization of the Decade: The Democratic Party. What is moonbattery? On the political level, it is the embracing of policies that have been shown historically to fail and rejection of policies that have been shown to work. The American Democratic party has made this belief the core of their platform. The very same policies that the progressive left has used to bankrupt states like California and New York and cities like Detroit are now being implemented on a national level. Either they are too stupid to recognize failure, or they are actively working to bring the country down. Which is it is a matter of serious debate.
Note: Pomalom correctly pointed out that the ACLU should have been included in the voting. I apologize for that oversight. That would have made it a close race.
Moonbat "Journalist" of the Decade: Keith Olbermann, by a blowout! Olbie epitomizes what the left wants all journalism to be... one-sided propaganda where opposing views are dismissed with derision and vitriol, presented by an arrogant gasbag who exaggerates his academic credentials. Olbie's arch-nemesis Bill O'Reilly is also a gasbag, but at least he actually debates the opposition on his show.
Moonbat Politician of the Decade (American): B. Hussein Obama. A professional Teleprompter Reader from Parts Unknown, Hussein personifies the beliefs of the moonbat democrat left that ideas that have always failed in the past can be forced on the public if they are championed by a telegenic ethnic minority. Unfortunately, they appear to be right.
Moonbat Politician of the Decade (International): Mahmoud Ahmadinnerjacket. The guy brutally executes homosexuals and wants to "wipe Israel off the map" with a nuclear Holocaust and the left treats him like cuddly Uncle Mo. If Carrie Prejean mated with Mel Gibson and the kid was subsequently adopted by Fred Phelps who hired Pat Buchanan to tutor him, he might grow up to be Mahmoud Ahmadinnerjacket, yet the progressive left loves the guy, progressive Jewish lesbians think he's "cuddly," he was the toast of Columbia U... WTF?
Oh, right, he hates America. That explains everything.
Anti-Moonbat of the Decade: Rush Limbaugh/Talk Radio. It was a very close race between Rush (Get well soon, big guy!) and the Tea Party/9-12 movement. But maybe Rush was the anti-moonbat of the last decade, and the Tea Party/9-12 patriots will be the anti-moonbats of the next.
