Right, not obama's orders, but a soldier will follow his Sergent's orders without question if he's a good soldier... if you saw the film VALKYRIE then you saw what a "good soldier" does when he's given his orders... it's not so easy to disobey your immediate superior in the military, there's a demand characteristic of the moment that is powerfully compelling and just about impossible to disobey... I believe under the circumstances of a nationwide civil upheaval approaching civil disruption and civil war that a soldier sent to control the angry crowd would definitely fire on the crowd when ordered... he may not want to, but he will, or risk a court marshal for failing to obey a direct order... GZ
