hello haim, i cannot honestly see myself altruistically recommend to mom, pop, j6p, or anyone not watching the screens 24/7/52 to engage with any of the 'assets' to named, namely <<Brazilian Debentures? or Turkish debt or Russian debt.... or the list I posted>>
if the objective was to simply engage with wagers <<all performed mush better than gold>>, i would have recommended garlic. but, of course, the objective is to bet sure, wager safe, gamble in size, and collect deservedly, without losing sleep, and for that, nothing beats gold, or, as you noted, GOLD.
and so as i noted Message 26213383
<< i just tallied my domestic helper's savings a/c under management with me. we pay her extra 2 month's pay every 12 months, but into a/c she cannot give away to wastrel relatives.
her a/c was invested 50/50 in pure gold and solid platinum at end of 2007, is up 69% during 2008, and her current year bonus will be split 50/50 in pure silver and solid gold
i do not charge her the customary 1/10 or the more usual 2/20, because both seem too much for the effort of keeping simple faith ;0) >>
and so i would not put coconut's nanny's savings into any of the items you had listed. for her, just gold, silver, and platinum, in calibrated balance, a bouquet, a cocktail, of goodness. keeping it all so simple, fuss free, and expense light.
one thing to note, while i may speak well of gold, praise platinum, and cheer silver, i do not denigrate portfolio choices of others, because each to his own.
however, i do recommend getgold ;0)
cheers, tj |
