That sounds like a great tale of people who were entirely self reliant. Yet because they knew that their chance for survival was better in groups they chose to share with others. The perfect blend of sharing bounty for the right reasons. Obama would not last long in an environment like that. After accepting the bounty of every neighbor without bothering to hunt for himself and his family the donations and sharing would dry up. If he was lucky the neighbors might offer to take in his family while sending him packing.
