It is strange that so many in USA don't understand that Latin America is finally cleaning up all the long-time US-puppets. THat flow of exils to USA have improved too, as long as they don't get som weird re-play of axis Ahmad Chalibi-Bush and the other crazed exils. It was smart to give Pinochet and his senate,judges,etc supporters a limited immunity, otherwise they would all have become exils in USA. If strategically positioned in some key districts they could, like the cubans, swing crucial elections. Silly 2-party, single-seat-districts, so silly nobody but some few backwards have them, old feudal system, in desperate need to manipulate their own population. Constantly redrawing the districts to produce the correct result despite the population must be the siliest but most effective thing. Worked for Jim Crow and works even better today with fairly smart computer programs. How does it feel to be GerryMandered??
