Right, Great point...and which (ensoulment) has been brought up to both Tim and Pope Greg as the standard by which normal spiritual discussions about these issues are discussed. They however won't go there, as they 'wish' things were much more cut and dried... as can be seen by virtually all their discussions on all topics. Hence the REAL issue, which you have brought up, has never come up here, or on the abortion thread. Dogmatists DONT WANT IT TO COME UP.

Actually, it is far from clear that this is the case makes the most sense IMHO. My understanding is that there are other traditions (than the current Christian dogma) and ideas that make just as much sense... In fact that a complete soul would inhabit a single cell seems unlikely to me, BWTFDIK.
